This systematization summarizes the experience carried out by IOM Panama in the organization of a Debate Club School Championship to promote prevention and awareness in Panamanian society, especially in young people, about the threats posed by human trafficking, as well as as well as on other issues such as xenophobia, migration, and inequality.

Debate Clubs were held with teams of high school level participants; for its preparation, workshops were held for young people, judges and moderators, an academic committee was appointed and finally the championship was held.
