Although the problem victims relapsing in the hands of human trafficking is widely known, there is little information regarding the incidence, causes and consequences that produce it. They have a high propensity to relapse after having faced a trafficking situation or during the period after the assistance process. In this light, the present study analyzes 79 cases of relapses in trafficking situations from 1999 to 2009, belonging to the IOM database.
