In human history, people have always migrated to cope with environmental changes. Now more than ever, the environment, the damaging effects of climate change, and its links to migration have garnered public attention. In this context, this document aims to shed light on the concepts, observations, data and challenges in relation to migration and the environment in the ACP countries, and to present the most relevant figures from the ACP countries, highlight the effects of the migration nexus -environment in human development and provide recommendations for policy makers in these countries.
