Human trafficking is a serious violation of human rights. It constitutes an insurmountable problem due to the fact that many of the cases of trafficking in persons are never reported. This has contributed to a notable lack of data on this matter; from which the Caribbean, African and Pacific countries are not excluded. In this sense, this publication, in addition to presenting the main trends in human trafficking in these countries, intends to offer a brief exposition on the national regulation in international on this subject, as well as recommendations and good practices.
