The growing visibility, presence and public participation of the indigenous Ngabe and Buglé have generated significant transformations in the economic, socio-cultural and political-institutional spheres of Costa Rican and Panamanian society. Their constant passage and settlement in non-indigenous territories pose an important historical challenge for societies that must face the challenges of respectful coexistence. In this context, this publication aims to deepen the description and analysis of human mobility in its labor dimension and explore the emerging challenges from it.
