In order to better understand the contexts of return and reintegration in Mexico and northern Central America, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) has conducted a number of studies at the country and regional levels. The present report contains the results of a study carried out with migrants and staff from institutions involved in the provision of reintegration services in Honduras, where the main focus of attention is on returning migrant children and adolescents. The objective of this report is to contribute to strengthening the reintegration processes in Honduras, so that the country can make better use of the learning and experiences of its returnee compatriots to generate development, and the returnees will find it easier to travel the difficult road from forced return to full reintegration.
