Strengthening border management in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic

Description

This initiative consisted in the creation of a Protocol that would provide advice on the detection and management of travelers who could be suspected cases of COVID-19, at points of entry in the border territories between Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

With the focus of managing the response to the COVID-19 epidemic at border points, it was coordinated with local authorities, a protocol was created and adapted for its application at border points as well as the creation of quarantine spaces.
