Migration Information and Data Analysis System (MIDAS)

Developed by IOM in 2009, the Migration Information and Data Analysis System (MIDAS) is a high-quality, easy-to-use and fully customizable solution for States in need of an affordable and comprehensive border management system. Currently used in 19 countries, MIDAS has been designed to meet international standards.
With the ability to collect, process, archive and analyze traveler information in real time and across the border network, MIDAS enables States to efficiently monitor those entering and leaving their territory while providing a solid statistical basis for planning. of immigration policies. IOM ensures that governments have complete and exclusive ownership of data recorded by MIDAS.

Displacement Tracking Matrix(DTM)

The Displacement Tracking Matrix is ​​a system for tracking and monitoring population displacement and mobility. It is designed to regularly and systematically capture, process and disseminate information to provide a better understanding of the movements and changing needs of displaced populations, whether on the ground or en route.

Voluntary certification system for international recruitment agencies

It is a global initiative designed to promote international ethical recruitment. It works by defining and setting a benchmark for ethical recruitment (the IRIS Standard), by establishing a voluntary certification scheme for ethical labor recruiters, and an enforcement and monitoring mechanism. IRIS was created by IOM and a coalition of partners from government, the private sector and civil society. Through IRIS, IOM also works with governments, the private sector (employers, suppliers, brands, etc.) and civil society organizations to create an enabling environment for ethical recruitment to become the norm.
