The self-guided course on Migration and Local Development has been created within the framework of the Joint Migration and Development Initiative (JMDI), a global inter-agency program   implemented by UNDP in collaboration with IOM, ITC-ILO, UNITAR, UN Women, UNCHR and UNFPA. The JMDI focuses on the local dimension of migrants’ contribution to development and aims to maximize the potential of migration for local development.
