Migration Informations Hubs

Description

This document produced by the Regional Office for Central America, North America and the Caribbean, provides references on Information Hubs on migration, which are information centers that provide direct and clear advice, contributing to better management of migration, protection of migrants and their integration into host communities.

These centers were implemented in several countries of the region and also allow the collection of general and updated information on the characteristics and needs of the migrant population. Depending on the context, they are coordinated by central authorities, local actors such as municipalities or, in some cases, civil society organizations. In all cases, they have received support from the IOM, either for their creation or strengthening.
