The lack of statistical data regarding counter trafficking in the Caribbean region and the absence of detailed information related to this crime, have motived to explore the main tendencies of this phenomena in Bahamas, Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, Netherlands Antilles, Saint Lucia, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago. This text, presents the results of a qualitative research carried out in eight selected countries.
