This publication identifies and quantifies the effects of migration and return migration on the economy and development of Trinidad and Tobago. In this sense, this study has sought to generate relevant data and information that allow informed decision-making on migration and related aspects (social, financial and economic), for policy makers and national counterparts. Likewise, this study highlights the increase in the number of immigrants from developing countries in search of employment and education or to obtain some type of certification.
