Regional study: Migration regularization programmes and processes
This study was prepared in collaboration with the Regional Conference on Migration (RCM). It presents a contextualization of regularization programs and processes in North America, Central America and the Dominican Republic. It identifies the initiatives undertaken for the regularization of migration and their implementation in the countries addressed; as well as the general characteristics and challenges for their proper management, for example, facilitating the access of migrants to these programs Finally, analyzes the areas of opportunity and good practices of migration regularization in the region, preparing concrete recommendations for the phases of creation and implementation of regularization programs and processes, the renewal of migration categories and the integration of regularized migrants.
