Evacuations are a strategy to minimize risks associated with various types of climate change-induced hazards in the Caribbean. This study examines evacuations as a type of mobility and assesses evacuation policies, strategies and practices from a regional perspective, drawing on information from interviews with government officials, civil society groups and people affected by evacuations.

This study also draws on an analysis of policies for all Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Member States and the Dominican Republic and a region-wide survey.
